The course start and finishes along the Long Walk with the start being around 190 m further up the Long Walk to enable us to use the Windsor Half Marathon finish.
The course itself is undulating and passes through some of the most beautiful countryside. There are two drink stations out on the course and also one at the finish. Along the course you will pass the Royal Lodge which was the Queen Mother’s residence and is now home to Prince Andrew, the Royal School and then at around 5.5 km you will pass the Statue of Queen Elizabeth II erected in celebration of her Golden Jubilee. It is then almost all downhill to the finish as you sweep onto the top of the Long Walk with Windsor Castle as the back drop.
Dotty Mares will be there to serve Prosecco, Gin and Tonic and Aperol Spritz to celebrate your achievements.
Our annual Beer and Cider Festival will take place again this year, with 40+ ales and ciders, plus Prosecco and craft lager, soft drinks, tea and coffee. This popular family event will once again feature music, delicious food and face-painting, as well as the opportunity to relax in our lovely countryside.
Dotty Mares will be serving Prosecco, Gin and Tonics and Aperol spritz.
The charities we are supporting this year are Headway and the Village Hall.
